摘要: The beneficial role of companion animals on human health and wellbeing across the life span is well documented in rapidly expanding multi disciplinary body literature known as animal interactions (HAI). Social workers practice at interface people their diverse environments. presence bonds (HAB) within client systems, between particular, are increasingly acknowledged valued by social workers. Additionally, some incorporate through assisted interventions (AAI). However, there a paucity empirical workers’ knowledge about experiences with inclusion animals. We conducted survey three prairie provinces Canada, replicating study that was first implemented nationwide U.S. later Canadian province Nova Scotia. explored HAI work. results, similar to Scotia findings, suggest s have general HAB, do practice. seem increasing skills HAI.
