摘要: Student mental health is a concern on university campuses, and animal-assisted interventions are one response. This article presents the immediate three-month follow-up outcomes of pilot evaluation study St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog program at three Canadian universities. Analyzing sample 403 students 16 handlers/observers events 87 follow-up, we found that therapy dogs offer love support. Love understood as having reciprocal for gaining positive feelings from visiting with them. Support destressing relaxing by interacting dogs. Implications supports suggested.
