摘要: Abstract A geometrically non-linear finite strip for the post-local-buckling analysis of perfect thin-walled prismatic structures under uniform end shortening is developed in this paper. The formulation aforementioned based on concept semi-energy approach. In method, out-of-plane displacement only which postulated by a deflected form. form substituted into von Karman’s compatibility equation solved exactly to obtain corresponding forms mid-plane stresses and displacements. solution are then used evaluate potential energy related strip. Finally, invoking principle minimum energy, equilibrium equations derived. applied analyse behaviour thin flat plates. results discussed detail compared with those available from published works, wherever possible. This has provided confidence validity capability handling problem plate structures.
