摘要: Numerical results for different versions of the fluid model an atmospheric-pressure glow discharge in helium are compared. It is shown that efforts to improve a large extent prospectless and often even impair previous results. This because has fundamental limitations when describing heavily nonequilibrium media, such as gas discharge. In systems, properties ensemble electrons cannot be reduced behavior “averaged particle,” which characterized by averaged concentration, directional velocity, energy (temperature). particular, values electron temperature near-cathode plasma obtained simulation far exceed both available experimental data physical estimates. therefore necessary develop consistent kinetic techniques correctly describe plasma.
