摘要: Abstract A novel functionalized layered double hydroxide (SPDP-LDH) has been prepared through hydrothermal method by co-precipitation based on spirocyclic pentaerythritol bisphosphorate disphosphoryl chlorine and Mg–Al-LDH (N-LDH). LDHs were homogenously mixed with unsaturated polyester resin (UP) to manufacture the final nanocomposites (LDH/UP). Various measurement methods have employed characterize structure, morphology, thermal stability combustible properties of intercalated LDH its hybrid composites. These data revealed that majority N-LDH was SPDP, nano-sized particles SPDP-LDH achieved. had a better dispersion in UP compared N-LDH. The TG showed initial decomposition temperatures delayed about 40 °C 50 °C for 5wt % 10wt %SPDP-LDH/UP respectively. CC presented higher fire retardancy can also be obtained SPDP-LDH/UP system decreasing value HRR THR. Compared N-LDH/UP system, an improvement mechanical properties. In particular, progressive increase 23.51% flexural strength observed at 5 wt% loading SPDP-LDH.
