摘要: Abstract Background. Patients with acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease may require endotracheal intubation mechanical ventilation. We designed, and here report on the efficacy of, a noninvasive ventilatory-assistance apparatus to provide inspiratory-pressure support by means face mask.
