摘要: Intrathoracic (oesophageal), intra-abdominal (gastric), and transdiaphragmatic (Pdi) pressures were studied in 20 untrained, healthy subjects during a full inspiration repeated maximal static inspiratory efforts. The pattern of pressure generation these two types respiratory manoeuvre was highly reproducible each subject. By contrast, it varied over wide range among individuals. In particular substantial number naturally had strong recruitment their intercostal accessory muscles thus, low Pdi values, both slowly performed forceful manoeuvres. These observations make clear that as usually obtained, are commonly open to misinterpretation. For this approach ensure reliable assessment diaphragmatic function detect diaphragm weakness adequately, appears essential either monitor the abdominothoracic configuration or standardise muscle contraction.
