摘要: To determine the effect of contraction diaphragm on lower esophageal sphincter (LES) pressure, we studied eight healthy volunteers during spontaneous breathing, maximal inspiration, and graded inspiratory efforts against a closed airway (Muller's maneuver). Electrical activity crural (DEMG) was recorded from bipolar electrodes, transdiaphragmatic pressure (Pdi) calculated as difference between gastric pressures, LES using sleeve device. During phasic DEMG accompanied by increases in Pdi pressure. With increased 15-20-fold compared with rose an end-expiratory 21 to 90 mmHg. Similar values were obtained Muller's maneuvers. fell promptly when relaxed. Graded maneuver resulted proportional Pdi, DEMG. The always greater than correlated it linear fashion (P less 0.001). We conclude that exerts sphincteric action at LES, this is important component antireflux barrier.
