摘要: Abstract Objectives: To study changes in pain of the back and neck adolescents between 1985 2001 neck, shoulder, lower 1991 and2001. Design: Biennial nationwide postal surveys, 1985-2001, annual classroom 1996-2001. Setting: Finland. Participants: 62 677 12, 14, 16, 18 year olds 127 217 14-16 olds. Main outcome measures: Pain or back, at least weekly. Results: Prevalence was greater 1990s than 1980s increased steadily from 1993 to 1997. shoulder much more common 1999 1999. among girls older groups: affected 24% 12% boys 14 olds, 38% 16% 16 45% 19% olds; 8% 7% 14% 11% 17% boysand 13% Conclusion: is becoming morecommon Finnish adolescents. This suggests a new disease burden degenerativemusculoskeletal disorders future adults.
