摘要: Studies on polymorphisms of Xeroderma Pigmentosum Group D Protein (XPD) and breast cancer risk are inconclusive. To elucidate the role XPD genotypes, all available studies were considered in this meta-analysis. The study provided 11,362/10,622 cases/controls for K751Q 9010/9873 D312N, respectively. Overall, no apparent effects 751Q allele compared to 751K was found subjects [RE OR = 1.04, 95% confidence interval (CI) (0.97-1.10), P 0.28]. Insignificant also under other genetic contrasts (homologous contrast, dominant model, recessive model). However, showed significantly increased Caucasians [FE 1.05, CI (1.00-1.11), 0.035]. In addition, insignificant D312N polymorphism susceptibility observed any but protective 312NN genotype model [P 0.02, 0.53, (0.32, 0.90)] homozygote contrast 0.03, 0.55; 0.96)] Asians. summary, our meta-analysis suggested 312N might act as a its association with may play plausible development whereas ethnic background should be carefully concerned further studies.
