摘要: Several reports claim that there is a risk laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) might worsen the prognosis of unsuspected gallbladder cancer. The aim this study was to evaluate whether surgical approach influence outcome in patients with incidental carcinoma. Methods: A retrospective done 28 who were diagnosed carcinoma had undergone for benign disease at our institution between 1999 and 2007. 20 (4 men 16 women, aged from 37 81 years) undergoing LC (group A) 8 (6 2 43 88 open (OC) B) GC. We evaluated two groups correlating cumulative survival rates tumor stage technique (LC or OC), time diagnosis (after during cholecystectomy). Results: nine (69.2 %) group four (30.8%) B recurrence. Survival rate statistically correlated (P<0.0001) but neither used perform cholecystectomy, nor (intra- post-operatively). Conclusion: These results would seem lend support opinion does not GC, regardless detected after cholecystectomy.
