An annotation tool for web browsers and its applications to information retrieval

摘要: With bookmark programs, current Web browsers provide a limited support to personalize the Web. We present new annotation tool which uses Document Object Model Level 2 and Dynamic HTML deliver system where speed privacy are important issues. report on several experiments showing how annotations improve document access retrieval by providing user-directed summaries. Preliminary results also show that can be used produce clustering classification.
