摘要: Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are emerging as new markers of interest to the forensic community because their abundance in human genome, low mutation rate, opportunity they present analyzing smaller fragments deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) than with short tandem repeats--important degraded DNA samples--and possibility automating analysis high-throughput technologies. Many technologies for genotyping SNPs have been developed past few years. We describe principles allelic discrimination reactions and used each them. The aim this chapter is help understanding methodologies SNP selection most appropriate techniques purposes.
