摘要: Preservation of autologous blood during cardiac surgery may reduce the need for homologous transfusions. We reviewed our experience patients undergoing primary coronary revascularization to determine effect use Haemonetics Cell-Saver upon bank resources and cost operation. The quantity required by two groups was compared. One group 46 had operation prior Cell- Saver ; other 31 entered into protocols. The mean number units transfused per patient fell strikingly (p < 0.0001) from 4.2 before 0.5 after introduction Saver. Of in protocol, 71 % no while they received 2.5 processed Cell-Saver. Related this, prepared typing compatibility testing anticipation 10 five. projected cost...
