摘要: Over the last few decades it has become clear that highly penetrant disease genes are responsible for a minor proportion of colorectal cancer cases. Families with hereditary syndromes today recognized and included in surveillance programs known to reduce morbidity mortality cancer. Colorectal is preventable screening strategies whole populations currently under debate. can be considered complex disease, combination predisposing genetic variants environmental factors contribute illness as whole. The progress made genome project provides an opportunity determine such factors. This knowledge used define subpopulation at increased risk It will more feasible design preventive this subgroup than population.
