摘要: Astacin proteases are involved in a variety of key functions during animal ontogeny. They important for sperm-egg fusion and they protect the fertilized egg from polyspermy. crucial development embryonic patterning blastula gastrula stage later on extracellular matrix assembly, pericellular signalling epithelial differentiation. Further, take care hatching and, adult organism, fulfill tissue maintenance homeostasis. Consequently, their malfunction causes severe disease states rendering this group enzymes therapeutic targets.
