摘要: Abstract Microelectrode studies of single units in the spinocervical tract cat under barbiturate anesthesia demonstrate a monosynaptic linkage between and dorsal column cutaneous afferents at segmental level root entry. The is substantially independent spinocerebellar tract, least 75% studied terminating region ipsilateral lateral cervical nucleus. Mean over-all conduction velocity 58.0 m/sec, compared with mean columns providing input to these 38.6 m/sec. contains Aα component, which small-fibered half most effective exciting units. Aδ component lacking. primary afferent all A group component. Thus slow-conducting fibers may project fast-conducting long pathways. Some functional clinical aspects its homologue are discussed.
