摘要: This article examines the relevance of spatial assimilation model in understanding residential segregation ethnic groups in three largest gateway cities Canada. Using data from census 2001 it finds that while the may have worked for European they are less applicable to visible minorities such as Chinese, South Asians and Blacks. Residential reduces with generation but not minorities. Canadian patterns seem be different seen United States. Many minority maintain their concentration levels even suburbs. The findings indicate cultural preferences just important social class choices groups.
