摘要: The influence of acrylonitrile–butadiene–styrene (ABS) copolymer content on the properties polylactic acid (PLA)/low density polyethylene (LDPE) blend (50/50) was investigated in present paper. (PLA/LDPE/ABS) prepared different ratios using a laboratory scale single screw extruder. blends were characterized terms rheological and mechanical properties. Rheological studied capillary rheometer, Bagley's correction performed. Shear rate (γr), shear stress (τr), viscosity (ηr), non-Newtonian index (n) determined. relationship between temperature also studied, flow activation energy at constant (Eγ) dog-bone-shaped samples obtained by an injection molding machine. tensile tests performed Testometric M350-10KN, break, strain Young's modulus revealed that exhibited shear-thinning behavior over range rates, increased as ABS increased, whereas decreased. Based determined for blends, it found no relation break regarded, significantly improved addition ABS. © 2014 Curtin University Technology John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
