摘要: To analyze the spontaneous eye-blink rate (SEBR) and blinking pattern in patients with moderately dry eyes during video display terminal (VDT) use. The SEBR of 30 eye syndrome (median age 44.8 years, range 18 – 67 years) was measured using a computer-based analysis system. Only complete blinks were recorded 10 min conversation, initial VDT use again after preceding work period 30 min. In comparison conversation (mean value 16.8 blinks/min, standard deviation blinks/min) significantly decreased (6.6±4.8; P<0.001) remained re-measurement 30 min (5.9±4.6; P<0.001). not different between min (P=0.65). characterized by marked interindividual variability No significant correlation found (either or use), quality (tear break-up time) quantity (Schirmer I test, Jones test) tear film. Typical patterns to be (1) relatively time-independent, irregular pattern, (2) an phase 2–4 shorter inter-eye-blink intervals, (3) alternating periods higher lower intervals. Reduction is primarily determined visual attention, resulting exacerbation symptoms predisposed humans.
