摘要: Interest in the cervical spine as a cause of pain or dysfunction is increasingly becoming focus many equine practitioners. Many affected horses are presented for poor performance, while others will present with dramatic, sometimes dangerous behavior. Understanding and distinguishing different types neck starting point to comprehending how clinical presentations can vary so greatly. There steps needed systematically evaluate various tissues determine which components contributing dysfunction. Osseous structures, soft central peripheral nervous system may all play role these presentations. After completing evaluation, several imaging modalities be implemented help underlying pathologic processes. multiple treatment options available each must carefully chosen an individual horse.
