摘要: Research has suggested that achievement is not solely based on the cognitive abilities of learner, but rather combination ability and personality traits. This paper explores how grit affects student academic performance success in first-year college physics students context a Quebec College d'enseignement general et professionnel (CEGEP). Two hierarchical linear regressions were performed using scores 12-item 5point Likert scale survey measure Grit cumulative GPA final exam mark for gateway course, controlling gender high school GPA. Prior was found to be significant predictor performance, as well course. or course success.
