Tumor-like cystic endosalpingiosis of the uterus with florid epithelial proliferation. A case report.

摘要: Mass-like cystic endosalpingiosis is very rare. The author reports such a lesion with histologic features of the uterus florid epithelial proliferation in 51-year-old female who complained lower abdominal pain. Preoperatively, it was considered to be left-sided ovarian cancer. Intraoperatively, subserosal, sessile polypoid mass multiple cysts uterine fundus measuring 12 x 6.5 5.5 cm found. Histologically, composed lined by benign-appearing tubal epithelium and bland smooth muscular myofibromatous stroma. Part exhibited marked papillarity tufting. Features conventional endometriosis were present focally. Pathologists clinicians should aware existence this type non-neoplastic lesion, mass-like endosalpingiosis, avoid overdiagnosis overtreatment.
