摘要: Resource management issues continually change over time in response to coevolving social, economic, and ecological systems. Under these conditions adaptive management, or "learning by doing," offers an opportunity for more proactive collaborative approaches resolving environmental problems. In turn, this will require the implementation of learning-based extension alongside traditional linear technology transfer within area extension. paper Integrated Systems Knowledge Management (ISKM) approach is presented illustrate how such can be used help communities develop, apply, refine technical information a larger context shared understanding. To outline works practice, we use case study involving pest management. Particular attention paid that emerge as result multiple stakeholder involvement problem situations. Finally, potential role Internet supporting disseminating experience gained through ongoing processes examined.
