摘要: The demand for bait by recreational fishers has led to significant commercial and harvests of polychaete worms, primarily from wild resources. In this global review over 200 papers, we identify 12 the 81 families polychaetes are used (the most popular Arenicolidae, Eunicidae, Nereididae Onuphidae), include 60 species. There clear regional patterns in supply bait, reflected harvest levels. For example, fisheries many countries throughout Asia focussed on export nereidids, yet Japan, nereidids imported China. Determining sustainability managing is extremely difficult due to: (1) a lack knowledge biology population dynamics; (2) limited understanding direct as well indirect impacts harvesting; (3) reliance with few cultured species; and (4) problems biosecurity associated live exports. Improved taxonomy, connectivity, dynamics populations fishery activities they support will more effective efficient management secure reliable access user groups.
