Distributed denial of service DDoS attack detection using data mining approach in cloud-assisted wireless body area networks

摘要: Nowadays, wireless body area networks WBANs is emerging as a promising technology with considerable potential in improving patients healthcare services. The integration of WBAN and cloud computing provides platform to create new digital paradigm leading features called cloud-assisted WBAN. foremost concern the security privacy data either collected stored by sensors or transmitted over an insecure network. Among these, availability most nagging issue. major threat distributed denial service attack DDoS normally launched from various locations. In order assure all time data, we propose victim based detection mechanism on very fast decision tree VFDT learning model evaluation performance analysis shows that proposed could detect high accuracy, reduced false positive negative ratio.
