Associations Between Dietary Patterns and Skin Microcirculation in Healthy Subjects

摘要: Objective— Microvascular dysfunction is suggested to be a marker of common pathophysiological mechanisms in the development insulin resistance, cardiovascular diseases, and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Given established relationship diet with macrovascular disease, aim this study was investigate for first time possible associations between dietary patterns microcirculation. Approach Results— Two hundred ninety-one healthy men women selected from Supplementation en Vitamines et Mineraux Antioxydants 2’ cohort were assessed anthropometric, nutritional, biochemical, microcirculation parameters using finger skin capillaroscopy. Dietary intake cross-sectionally food frequency questionnaire, principal component analysis used identify 40 groups. Six identified. A pattern characterized by increased consumption vegetable oils, poultry, fish seafood positively associated both functional anatomic capillary density after adjusting confounders ( β =0.13, P =0.05 β= 0.20, P= 0.00, respectively). second sweets inversely all multivariate models =−0.14, =0.03 −0.17, 0.01).
