摘要: The term patient-centered communication (PCC) has been used to describe a group of strategies and behaviors that promote mutuality, shared understandings, decision making in health care encounters. There is evidence suggest advanced practice nurse patients use these co-produce highly individualized clinical discourse. Although the associated with PCC have studied separately, their impact as an integrated communications strategy not studied. Suggestions for developing mid-range theory encompassing other more specific concepts are offered.
