摘要: Chronic stable angina pectoris is the most common manifestation of coronary artery disease and associated with impaired quality life increased mortality. Signs symptoms result from an imbalance between myocardial oxygen supply metabolic demands they can be relieved by drugs that reduce and/or increase blood flow to ischemic area. Nowadays many patients continue suffer despite medical treatment bypass surgery percutaneous interventions. Therefore, there a need for developing new antianginal drug different, but complementary, mechanisms action safely added current arsenal. This chapter briefly reviews mechanism preliminary clinical efficacy safety some under development chronic pectoris.
