摘要: The correlation between ultra-violet absorbance at 254 nm (A254 nm) and total organic carbon (TOC) content has been determined for a variety of treated untreated water samples. These samples ranged from municipal secondary sewage effluent to raw processed river water. High coefficients were obtained which contained sufficient permit accurate TOC determinations. Predictably, systems with low levels yielded lower coefficients. However, even the coefficients, measurements can still be used monitor process stream its if interferences turbidity do not exceed certain limits.
