摘要: Extending the Gaussian model of solvation (Chandler, D. Phys. Rev. E 1993, 48, 2898) to dynamics, we focus specifically on problem dielectric relaxation. In model, solvent is described in terms a linear responding field that expelled from volume occupied by solute. The excluded affects normal modes system, thereby playing significant role dynamics. Even context continuum theory, polarization response outside volume. We show this effect can be analyzed generally and analytically.
