摘要: Laser-assisted machining (LAM) is one of the most effective methods for enhancing machinability difficult-to-cut materials, such as titanium alloys and various ceramics, has been studied by many researchers. LAM a method that facilitates softening workpiece using laser heat source. The advantages process are decreases in tool wear, cutting force, surface roughness. However, when material over-heated, melting or burning can occur. This study analyzed source distribution with regard to overlapping preheating on heating path an acute angle, right angle obtuse angles. Then, power reduction was proposed reduce workpiece.
