The objective present study was to describe reproductive this species, based 262 sharks (117 females 145 males) caught from September 2004 May 2006 Gulf Tehuantepec, Mexico. size ranged 70 229 cm total length (TL); males measured 69 220 cm TL. Female organ measurements showed that between 175 190 cm TL there an increase oviducal gland width (19–45 mm), as well uterus (20–220 mm width). Mature over 180 cm had calcified claspers, well-developed testes (184–282 mm) presence sperm seminal vesicles. estimated at first maturity 180 cm, 190 cm. Ovarian fecundity varied 4 11 oocytes, uterine 2 14 embryos. We infer mating occurs June. did not find storage glands. Birth observed be 60 69 cm No defined gestation period observed.
