摘要: An inactive form of the Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis phospholipase D (PLD) gene was constructed and expressed in a PLD-negative strain (designated Toxminus) C. pseudotuberculosis. Antibody responses specific to Toxminus both PLD proteins were detected sheep following oral administration or expressing toxoid, respectively. However, only those vaccinated with toxoid protected against wild-type challenge. These results confirm importance as protective antigen demonstrate potential for developing an caseous lymphadenitis vaccine live vector.
