摘要: Dynamic and pluralist religion plays a vital role in development contemporary Brazil. As advisors that supplement and, occasionally, even substitute for state bureaucracy absent or overwhelmed many vulnerable areas, Brazilian religious organisations are once again becoming the favoured partners of state. This reconfiguration is taking place under markedly different conditions than colonial era, when throne altar worked together an intimate relationship. Since then, successive constitutions have imposed legal separation politics religion. On social level, however, two spheres today appear dedicated to cooperation. chapter analyses current tendency government ‘contract’ increasing number entities deliver manage its responsibilities ‘public-religious partnerships’.
