摘要: It is widely accepted that the mix of flavonoids in cell vacuole source flavonoid based petal colour, and analysis extract reveals nature relative levels vacuolar pigments. However, it has recently been established with lisianthus flowers some can be excluded from through deposition wall or complexation proteins inside vacuole, these are not readily extractable. The present work demonstrates also compartmented within cytoplasm. Using adaxial epidermal peels petals (Eustoma grandiflorum), Lathyrus chrysanthus Dianthus caryophyllus, light laser scanning confocal microscopy studies revealed a significant concentration cytoplasm tissues. With lisianthus, analyses isolated protoplasts vacuoles were used to establish ca 14% located (cf. 30% 56% vacuole). cytoplasmic predominantly acylated glycosides non-acylated wall). Flavonoid aggregation on protein substrate provides rational mechanism account for how colourless produce yellow colouration petals, perhaps other plant parts. High concentrations such shown insufficient.
