摘要: Background Microvascular blood flow in the tendon plays an important role pathogenesis of rotator cuff abnormalities. There are conflicting views about presence a hypovascular zone supraspinatus tendon. Besides, no studies have looked at pattern around partial-thickness tear. Our aim was to measure microvascular normal and range pathologic tendons using laser doppler flowmetry. Methods A total 120 patients having arthroscopic shoulder surgery were divided into 4 equal groups on basis their intraoperative diagnosis: cuff, subacromial impingement syndrome, or full-thickness measured 5 different regions each probe. The values compared assess variability within between individuals. Results Total greater group with cuffs, largest difference seen group. Within individuals, highest musculotendinous junction lowest lateral insertional part Among groups, significantly lower anteromedial posteromedial tears cuff. Conclusion Real-time in vivo analysis has shown that is not uniform throughout Blood
