摘要: During the last 60 years, incessant efforts have been made to improve efficiency of traffic control systems meet ever-increasing demands. Some recent works attempt enhance via vehicle-to-vehicle communications. In this paper, we aim give a survey some research frontiers in trend, identifying early-stage key technologies and discussing potential benefits that will be gained. Our focuses on side aims highlight design philosophy for is undergoing transition from feedback character feedforward character. Moreover, discuss contrasting preferences their relations vehicular The first pair are model-based predictive versus simulation-based control. second global planning-based local self-organization-based con- trol. third using rich information may highly redundant concise necessary. Both potentials drawbacks these strategies explained. We hope comparisons can shed interesting light future studies.
