摘要: A serologic survey of the prevalence morbillivirus antibodies was conducted in a population harbor seals (Phoca vitulina) from northeastern Scotland, where mortality comparatively low during 1988 phocine distemper virus outbreak. None 12 sampled before epizootic were seropositive. Thirty-five (52%) 68 after beginning seropositive, although there significant age-related differences both number seropositive individuals and antibody levels. Marking studies showed that most caught peak survived for several months. Thus, observed this did not appear to result lack contact with virus.
