摘要: This paper deals with the transient analysis of manufacturing systems in presence failures and repairs. The exact model is decomposed into: 1) a structure state process, modeling failure repair events which occur at slower time scale; 2) performance model, part processing material movement occurring faster scale. solutions these two models are combined to yield mean standard deviation cumulative production over an interval. Such studies, called performance-dependability important context. We define dependability (performability) measures context, provide mathematical formulation. Detailed performability studies carried out for cellular systems, particular flexible cell two-cell system featuring blocking prioritized, centralized repair. also present several numerical examples. >
