摘要: Abstract The chemical composition of waste small electrical and electronic equipment (s-WEEE), a rapidly growing stream, was determined for selected metals (Cu, Sb, Hg etc.) non-metals (Cl, Br, P) PCBs. During 3-day experiment, all output products the s-WEEE input mass flows in WEEE recycling plant were measured. Only sampled analyzed. Material balances established, applying substance flow analysis (SFA). Transfer coefficients substances also determined. results demonstrate capability SFA to determine highly heterogeneous most with rather low uncertainty (2 σ  ⩽ ± 30%). confirm importance regarding secondary resource potential toxic substances. Nowadays, thirty times smaller turns over larger many substances, compared municipal solid waste. coefficient serve evaluate separation efficiency process – exception PCB limitation hand-sorting mechanical processing separate pollutants (Cd, Pb, out reusable fractions. Regularly applied would assess efficacy legislative, organizational technical measures on WEEE.
