摘要: The unified power flow controller (UPFC) has been proved to be an effective means for regulating voltage profile and in modern systems. Optimising its location becomes a concern when coming the practical implementation stage. This paper proposes mathematical model work out pragmatic approach based on augmented Lagrange multiplier method determine optimal UPFCs installed. Investment consideration of real loss network concerned are integrated into objective functions. proposed takes account steady state security constraints systems represented by models having large scale nonlinear properties. Case studies show that optimally located UPFC can improve performance significantly increase loadability system.
