摘要: This paper deals with the optimal choice and allocation of FACTS devices in multimachine power systems using genetic algorithm. The objective is to achieve system economic generation dispatch deregulated electricity market. Using proposed method, locations devices, their types ratings are optimized simultaneously. Different kinds simulated this study: UPFC, TCSC, TCPST, SVC. Furthermore, investment costs also considered. Simulation results validate capability new approach minimizing overall cost function, which includes bid offers market participants. algorithm an effective practical method for suitable environment.
