摘要: BRAF gene mutations have been frequently detected in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC). Moreover, there is a close association between the type of mutation and PTC histotype: BRAF(V600E) associated with conventional histological variants displaying prominent growth pattern, whereas BRAF(K601E) follicular variant PTC. We report detection novel triplet deletion case predominantly solid pattern. The leads to replacement valine lysine by glutamate activation segment (BRAF(VK600-1E)), thus mimicking partially 2 previously described. Our study reinforces existence relationship occurrence some types histotypes. genetic more cases necessary find whether exists significant BRAF(VK600-1E) such histotype.
