摘要: Low-calorie sweeteners are considered to be beneficial in calorie control, but the impact of these on gastric emptying is not well described. The purpose this study was compare rate agave nectar with those glucose and fructose, evaluate interaction cholecystokinin (CCK)-1, CCK-2 glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptors agave-induced alterations emptying. Female Sprague–Dawley rats were fitted cannulas. Following recovery, rates glucose, fructose at 12.5%, 15% or 50% concentrations measured compared that saline. GLP-1 receptor antagonist exendin fragment 9-39 (30 μg kg−1), CCK-1 devazepide (1 mg kg−1) gastrin/CCK-2 YM022 injected subcutaneously 1 min before their concentrations. When saline emptying, significantly delayed its 25% concentrations, 12.5% different from Agave which respect altered by blockade; emptied stomach as rapidly following blockade either receptors. findings demonstrate inhibitory effect mediated both receptors, suggesting natural including may have satiating effects through inhibition motility via enteroendocrine mechanisms.
