摘要: The cycloplatinated dichloro-bridged complex [(2-Tolpy)Pt(μ-Cl)] 2 (1), obtained by treatment of 2-tolylpyridine with K 2PtCl 4, reacts different N-donor ligands in a 1:2 molar ratio chloroform to give the corresponding mononuclear complexes [(2-Tolpy)Pt(L)Cl] [L = pyridine (2), 2-trifluoromethylpyridine (3), 3-trifluoromethylpyridine (4), 4-trifluoromethylpyridine (5), 2,6-dibromopyridine (6), (7) and morpholine (8)]. Compounds 2-5 8 exist as single isomer solution which show trans-C,Cl geometry. In case compounds 6 7 mixture two isomers (trans-C,Cl trans-C,L) was its relative depends on temperature. crystal molecular structures 5 were determined X-ray crystallography. © 2011 Elsevier Ltd.
