摘要: Noninsulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) or type II is a serious and fast-growing disease affecting about 5–10% of the adults in Western world (1). NIDDM preceded by impaired glucose tolerance (IGT), which affects 25% population over 50 yr age—a with nearly as high morbidity mortality rate NIDDM—despite “normal” fasting plasma values (2). Both IGT result 200–300% increased rates, mainly from myocardial infarction Therefore, syndrome—from early stages to fulminant hyperglycemic state—is challenge for all clinicians.
