摘要: Abstract The deposition and resuspension behaviour of radio-contaminated aerosol particles is a key issue for the safety assessment depressurization accidents gas-cooled high temperature reactors. Within framework two European research projects, namely Thermal Hydraulics Innovative Nuclear Systems (THINS) Advanced High-Temperature Reactors Cogeneration Heat Electricity R&D (ARCHER), series investigations was performed to investigate transport, in turbulent flows. experimental numerical tests can be subdivided into four different parts: (1) Monolayer particle deposition, (2) resuspension, (3) Multilayer (4) resuspension. results provide new insight formation removal deposits flows are used development validation procedures Good agreement found between results.
