Chromosome changes in a squamous cell carcinoma of the vagina

摘要: The findings on direct chromosome preparations of a moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma the vagina are described. Most counts were in range 82-86. Eight markers present at least five six metaphases karyotyped: 3p- (1-2 copies); i(5p) or possibly 5q- (2-3 i(8q) (2 11q- (2-4 15p+ copies), probable 18q- (1 copy), 22p+ and minute acrocentric copies). Numerical changes included extra copies chromosomes 7 13, but only one copy 11 was present.
