摘要: Reconstruction of the skull base continues to advance at an exponentially rapid rate. New methods vascular tissue mobilization, improvement in technology, and advancement minimally invasive harvesting allow for multiple endoscopic reconstruction options anterior base. Size location defect, along with experience surgical technique, all play a part algorithm choice reconstructive method. Reduction nasal morbidity has increased, while rates complications continue decline increasing technique. Continued efforts expand armamentarium surgeon will field towards better clinical outcomes reduced complications. Here, we review most current avascular available, highlight recent advances decreasing patient morbidity, discuss occurring during reconstruction.
